Welcome to Deaf Connect
We have been providing Australian Sign Language (Auslan) classes since 1985 and have a team of experienced teachers delivering both accredited and non-accredited classes. Our courses are delivered in either a blended learning model or fully online model. The blended learning model is a combination of face-to-face learning, online and home study.
We are proud to be Australia’s largest whole-of-life service provider for the Deaf, hard of hearing and deafblind communities.
The Deaf Connect brand is a product of the combined knowledge of several state-based Deaf organisations, united under one banner. With shared history, vision and strengths, we stand with the Deaf community, delivering services in Queensland, New South Wales, South Australia, the Australian Capital Territory, Western Australia and the Northern Territory, with Auslan interpreting services delivered nationally.
Our focus is on community and empowerment, supporting Deaf Australians and their families to make choices and actions to thrive in life, while delivering on a national agenda to improve equity for the Deaf community, and to remove systemic cultural and language barriers.
