Training and Education Part Scholarships

Diploma of Interpreting Teachers

Deaf Services and Access Training & Education (RTO#41192) are offering certified interpreters interested in completing a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment the opportunity to apply for part scholarships. 

To be eligible for the part scholarship you must:

  • Hold current certification (preferably at the Certified Interpreter level but will consider Certified Provision Interpreters)
  • Be in a position to complete the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment before January 2020
  • Have current industry experience
  • Be willing to teach for AT&E for Diploma of Interpreting

It is desirable that applicants have completed formal study in the area of interpreting.

There are three part scholarships available and all interpreters that express an interest will undergo a selection process. 

Applicants will have half of their course fees* reimbursed by Deaf Services and Access Training & Education on successful completion of the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course. 

 

Auslan Teachers

Deaf Services and Access Training & Education (RTO#41192) are offering opportunities to those interested in completing a qualification in TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.                                

To be eligible for the part scholarship you must:

  • Be in a position to complete the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment before January 2020
  • Fluent in Auslan and have lived experience as a Deaf person
  • Have current industry experience
  • Be willing to teach for AT&E on Auslan accredited courses

There are five part scholarships available and all applicants who express an interest will undergo a selection process. 

Applicants will have half of their course fees* reimbursed by Deaf Services and Access Training & Education on successful completion of the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course.
