TAE Part Scholarships

Diploma of Interpreting Teachers


Deaf Services and Access Training & Education (RTO#41192) are offering certified interpreters interested in completing a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment the opportunity to apply for part scholarships. 


To be eligible for the part scholarship you must:

 

  • Hold current certification (preferably at the Certified Interpreter level but will consider Certified Provision Interpreters)
  • Be in a position to complete the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment before April 2021
  • Have current industry experience
  • Be willing to teach for AT&E for Diploma of Interpreting
  • Open to New South Wales and Queensland Interpreters

It is desirable that applicants have completed formal study in the area of interpreting.

There are three part scholarships available and all interpreters that express an interest will undergo a selection process. 

Applicants will have half of their course fees* reimbursed by Deaf Services and Access Training & Education on successful completion of the TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment course.

*Course fees only will reimbursed (no other associated costs).
