One of the many benefits of the Ageing Well service is the facilitation of regular social activities, providing Deaf and hard of hearing clients with access to a network and a community.

The Ageing Well service provides Deaf and hard of hearing seniors with a connection to the community where they have the opportunity to enjoy ageing together.

Respite meetings run once a month on a Monday and participants are provided morning tea and lunch while engaging in group activities.

Group activities can include:

  • Exercising
  • Games
  • Excursions and day trips.
