The Hear for Kids team provides a range of essential services to Deaf and hard of hearing children from birth through the school years.
Hear for Kids in School is a program partly funded by the Queensland Department of Education and Training's Non School Organisations program to provide services to eligible Deaf and hard of hearing children in Prep and Year One.
A key component of the Hear for Kids service is the support provided at Early Childhood Development Programs (ECDPs), currently operating at Taigum and Yeerongpilly.
The Better Start for Children with Disability initiative is a Federal Government program that provides funding for early intervention services.
